Throughout 2016 and 2017, the Chapter worked hard to roll out and grow its three Working Groups (WG):

• Internet Governance
• Data Protection, Privacy and Security
• IoT, Internet Technologies and Access

In 2017, we held a Chapter event with our WG Chairs and, over the year, our Chairs and WG Fellows published blog posts and attended events to promote the Chapter’s work.

In 2018, the Chapter Board decided to adjust its strategy to better fit with the needs of the Chapter and re-align these WGs into Focus Areas.

The Focus Areas group the issues that are important to our Chapter members along the same lines as the WGs and enable members and subject matter experts to contribute directly to the Chapter’s work on the specific issues and topics that interest them.
