  • The first North American School of Internet Governance (NASIG) takes place in Puerto Rico, March 07-09, and you still have time to apply by January 31! Fellowships and travel grants are available.
  • At the landmark Indigenous Connectivity Summit in Santa Fe last year, 200 people from across North America gathered to discuss connecting Indigenous communities. Read an overview of the summit and recommendations to bridge the community’s digital divide.
  • San Jose Mayor Sam Liccardo, vice chair of a broadband deployment working group at the FCC that aimed to establish a model code for municipalities, quit this week over concerns that the recommendations did not favor public interest.
